The Hill Apartments are now being reimagined as the Eastbury, a development with 122 units that residents will own rather than rent. As the condos began renovation, the lobby needed updating as well. Neylan Design worked with Farris Properties and Ingram & Associates to transform a dark, outdated lobby into a fresh and inviting space, perfect for residents to enjoy.
The Franklin Lofts
Our challenge with this loft was to create separate but cohesive
living spaces within an open floor plan, ensuring our selections gave the industrial lofts a warm, inviting touch. chairs at the end of the bed provide seating when the dividing curtains are drawn.
Flats on Fourth
For the Flats on Fourth apartment complex, located in downtown Birmingham, we were tasked with creating a sleek but functional common area indoors, as well as a multi-use outdoor space. With stunning views of the city, the outdoor area is used frequently by residents and guests. Our design created multiple entertainment areas using various types of seating arrangements.
The living room has two seating areas and the overall feel of the house is open, relaxed, and inviting. The owners of this Airbnb report wonderful occupancy since the renovation and the new furnishings.
Ideal Home 2019
Open floor plans create beautiful spaces, but can often pose a challenge for designers looking to define living spaces within a home. This became one challenge for us when looking to design this model home.
Through the use of furniture placement and thoughtful material selection, we connected the living and dining rooms while still defining each space. Bold finishes throughout the home provided a backdrop for unique design selections.
