Open floor plans create beautiful spaces, but can often pose a challenge for designers looking to define living spaces within a home. This became one challenge for us when looking to design this model home.Through the use of furniture placement and
thoughtful material selection, we connected the living and dining rooms while still defining each space. The cotton baskets on the wall complimented the mix of metals and stone used elsewhere in the room. In the dining area, the abstract painting set in a thin
gold frame compliments the brass light fixtures used throughout the first floor. Bold finish selections in the kitchen provided the perfect backdrop for the mixing of metal and wood between the
bar and in the breakfast nook. The dining room’s moody teal walls provided a canvas for more daring selections in furniture and decor. The master bedroom makes an impact with a few dark statement pieces. We designed the additional sitting space around
